Full disclosure: Since black women, such as myself can only ever aspire to attain the levels of confidence of a mediocre White man. To placate my doomed existence I permit myself certain indulgences from time to time — thought experiments that offer fleeting glimpses into what it must be like to exist as the default standard of all humanity.
