Gentle Wisdom II

I have found a few truths to repeat over and over again throughout my life. Often I have ignored them to my detriment.

  • Seasons of your life will wax and wane. There will be numerous cycles of change in your life. We’ve all heard this a million times but for some reason never heed the advice: enjoy the one you’re in, it will be gone all too soon.
  • Above seasons will contain diverse people and many will leave your life when the season closes. Very few will walk with you through multiple seasons. That’s ok.
  • It matters when someone takes a liking to you. Don’t just focus on people who you can gain something from. People who you find affinity with are part of your tribe, they will become more and more important the older you get.
  • Go and do the thing you have always wanted to do. You do not need permission and you won’t always have the ability or opportunity to do it.
  • If it gives you joy then it’s a good sign post for what you should do more of.
  • You don’t hurt anyone as much as you harm yourself. Do your best to do no evil.

Blessings!
