A decade and a half ago, I emerged a bright-eyed and busy-tailed new graduate. With a spanking new bachelor’s degree in my hand, I was ready to take on the world and carve out my place in the world.
I followed all the fundamentals from my university career day events — a spruced up CV, interview prepped to the nines, my elevator pitch was on point. I was ready to get stuck in on that first rung up the corporate ladder.
